Abstract: A semiring S is said to be a quasi completely regular semiring if for any a 2 S there exists a positive integer n such that na is completely regular. The study of completely Archimedean semirings have shown that completely Archimedean semirings are nil-extensions of completely simple semirings. In this paper we introduce retractive nil-extensions of completely simple semirings and establish a relation with completely Archimedean semirings.
