Abstract: Cytoplasmic tail of human coronavirus OC-43 and SARS spike protein has differential intracellular localization signal: Hela cells transfected with OC-43 and SARS spike protein (Green-YFP) showed partial colocalization with endoplasmic reticulum Golgi intermediate compartment (ERGIC) marker f3-Cop (Red). Red fluorescence shows ERGIC compartment, green fluorescence shows endogenous expression of OC-43 or SARS spike protein and yellow fluorescence shows overlap which symbolizes colocalization of spike protein (YFP)with ERGIC marker f3-Cop(Red).
